The Etix Scanner is a tool designed for Etix venues and organizations to efficiently manage customer entry to events. Compatible with various scanning devices, the Etix Scanner enhances the event check-in process. Access to this feature is exclusive to Etix clients with authorized ticket validation permissions. The Etix Scanner offers the following functionalities:
- Scan tickets using the built-in camera or Linea Pro jacket
- Activate the device's flashlight for scanning in low-light environments
- Manually input serial numbers for unreadable barcodes
- Toggle between scanning in and out
- Scan using Wi-Fi or cellular data
- Review a log of ticket scans
- Utilize the Connection Diagnostics tool to troubleshoot connection issues
- Ensure scan data integrity with backup systems in case of network problems
- Benefit from clear visual indicators for rapid ticket validation
- Access advanced validation reporting through Etix Boxoffice
